More on Masterates

A little while ago I posted a blog on masterates in Conductive Education after finding a request for information about such a course on the Internet.

Today Susie Mallett has posted on her blog about Masterates and why she wouldn't want one. It makes very interesting reading and I will keep an eye for any comments made.

Gill,

I would like to clear up some misunderstanding. I had not meant to write about why I personally would not want a masterate.

My aim was to write about my thoughts on a master’s in CE and why conductors might not want one, though conductors might be interested in other lines of study: in other subjects or by way of research.

It could be a very nice dream for the future for me to be in the position to go off to university for the first time, for two years to study, but not CE.

Sorry to have got the emphasis wrong, Susie. I read it as a personal statement that others may well agree with.
